Description:
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for a long-term, 1099 independent contractor opportunity (minimum one-year contract) supporting an established community teaching hospital in Massachusetts. This is a 7-on/7-off schedule with a hybrid coverage model: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm on-site handling inpatient psych admissions and unit rounding, plus 24-hour coverage responsibilities across all 7 days on service, including light evening/overnight work (medication calls and emergency consults) and weekend coverage of consults, addiction consults, and admissions. Providers receive a guaranteed daily rate plus additional pay for time worked beyond scheduled hours, with strong top-earning potential for the right candidate. We're looking for a strong PMHNP with a minimum of 5 years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced inpatient setting and is comfortable balancing in-person and remote responsibilities.
